The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Event will come to pass 1 there will be nought that could give the lie to its having come to pass, 2 It will abase some and exalt others. 3 when the earth shall be rocked 4 and the mountains crumbled, 5 becoming scattered dust, 6 [on that Day,] then, shall you be [divided into] three kinds. 7 Companions of the Right, what are the Companions of the Right? 8 The people of the left hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their left hands. How miserable they will be! 9 And the foremost in the race, the foremost in the race: 10 they who were [always] drawn close unto God! 11 in the Gardens of Delight, 12 A multitude of those of old 13 And a few of those of later time. 14 On thrones woven [with ornament], 15 reclining upon them, facing one another [in love]. 16 they will be waited on by ageless youths 17 With goblets, (shining) beakers, and cups (filled) out of clear-flowing fountains: 18 by which their minds will not be clouded and which will not make them drunk; 19 And fruit; that they may choose. 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire to eat; 21 And pure, beautiful ones, 22 Like unto preserved pearls. 23 as reward for their deeds. 24 Not frivolity will they hear therein, nor any taint of ill,- 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 The Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 27 (They will be) among thornless lote-trees, 28 And acacia covered with heaps of bloom, 29 And spreading shade, 30 and gushing water, 31 And abundant fruit, 32 unfailing, unforbidden, 33 And [with them will be their] spouses, raised high: 34 Indeed We formed them (the houris and all believing women), 35 And made them virginal, 36 The beloved of their husbands, of one age. 37 For those on the right. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
