The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Event inevitable cometh to pass, 1 no soul will deny its coming. 2 (it will) abase (some) and exalt (others). 3 When the earth is shaken with a shaking [severe,] 4 And the mountains will be crushed, blown to bits. 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 And ye will be three kinds: 7 (First) those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 8 And those on the left how (wretched) are those on the left! 9 Then the foremost, how pre-excellent, 10 (The foremost ones) will be the nearest ones to God 11 In the gardens of bliss. 12 A numerous company from among the first, 13 And a few from among the latter. 14 They will recline on jewelled couches 15 Reclining face to face. 16 There shall go round unto them youths ever-young. 17 with goblets and ewers and a cup filled with a drink drawn from a running spring, 18 Their heads shall not ache with it, nor shall they lose their senses. 19 And with fruits, any that they may select: 20 And the flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 And wide eyed houris 22 like pearls preserved in their shells, 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 They will not hear any unnecessary or sinful talk 25 Other than "Peace, peace" the salutation. 26 The Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 27 They will be in (the shade) of thornless lote 28 And banana-trees (with fruits), one above another. 29 and shade extended, 30 And water poured out 31 And fruit abundant. 32 Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden, 33 And maidens incomparable. 34 Indeed, We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation 35 So made them as maidens. 36 Loving companions matched in age, 37 For those on the right. 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
