After we have died and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be raised up again? 47 and perhaps, too, our forebears of old?" 48 Say: "Verily, those of olden times and those of later times 49 "All will certainly be gathered together for the meeting appointed for a Day well-known. 50 "Then moreover, verily, you the erring-ones, the deniers (of Resurrection)! 51 will eat from the fruit of the tree of Zaqqum, 52 "Then you will fill your bellies therewith, 53 Then drink over it of boiling water; 54 You shall drink it as the thirsty camels drink." 55 Such will be their welcome on Judgment Day! 56 It is We Who have created you: why will ye not witness the Truth? 57 Just consider (the semen) that you emit, 58 Do you create a child out of it, or are We its creators? 59 We have destined death for you and no one can challenge Us 60 That We may substitute others like unto you and produce you into that which ye know not. 61 And certainly you know the first growth, why do you not then mind? 62 Have you considered what you sow? 63 Is it you who cause it to grow - or are We the cause of its growth? 64 If We will, We would make it broken stubble and you would remain wondering, 65 (And say:) "We have fallen into debt; 66 nay, we are deprived [altogether]." 67 And have you seen the water that you drink? 68 Is it you that send it down from the clouds, or are We the senders? 69 If We pleased, We would have made it salty; why do you not then give thanks? 70 So what is your opinion regarding the fire which you kindle? 71 Is it ye who grow the tree which feeds the fire, or do We grow it? 72 We made it a reminder and a provision for the needy. 73 Then, exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 74
