▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 in a hidden Book 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
