۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 Then praise your Lord, the most supreme. 96
