Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
