۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 and, behold, this is indeed a most solemn affirmation, if you but knew it! 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
