▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,- 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 and you are watching at that time 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
