۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 A Revelation (this Quran) from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
