۞ Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,- 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment, 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
