Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 In a book that is protected 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why can you not help a soul dying 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
