Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 in a hidden Book 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment, 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) proclaim the Purity of the name of your Lord, the Greatest. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
