۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
