▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 and that hour you are watching 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
