۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 right before your very eyes? 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
