▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 If he is among the near 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
