1/2 Hizb 54
< random >
۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
