▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,- 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 A Revelation (this Quran) from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
