۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 in a hidden Book 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And burning in hell. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 Then praise your Lord, the most supreme. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
