۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Is it such a talk (this Quran) that you (disbelievers) deny? 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 and the roasting in Hell. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 Then praise your Lord, the most supreme. 96
