Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth halloweth Allah; and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 1 To Him belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth. He gives life and causes things to die. He has power over all things. 2 He is the First and the Last, and the Outward as well as the Inward: and He has full knowledge of everything. 3 It is He Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then ascended the Throne (of Control), in a manner befitting His Majesty; He knows all what goes into the earth and all what comes out of it, and all what descends from the sky and all that rises in it; and He is with you, wherever you may be; and Allah is seeing your deeds. 4 His is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, and unto Allah (all) things are brought back. 5 He plungeth the night into the day, and plungeth the day into the night, and He is the Knower of whatsoever is in the breasts. 6 Believe in Allah and His messenger, and spend of that whereof He hath made you trustees; and such of you as believe and spend (aright), theirs will be a great reward. 7 And why do you not believe in Allah while the Messenger invites you to believe in your Lord and He has taken your covenant, if you should [truly] be believers? 8 He is the One Who sends to His Servant Manifest Signs, that He may lead you from the depths of Darkness into the Light and verily Allah is to you most kind and Merciful. 9 And why do you not spend in the cause of Allah while to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth? Not equal among you are those who spent before the conquest [of Makkah] and fought [and those who did so after it]. Those are greater in degree than they who spent afterwards and fought. But to all Allah has promised the best [reward]. And Allah, with what you do, is Acquainted. 10
