Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allah, and He is the All-Mighty, All-Wise. 1 His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, He is the giver of life and death, and He has power over everything. 2 He is the first and He the last, the transcendent and the immanent; and He has knowledge of everything. 3 He created the heavens and the earth in six days, and willed to the Throne. He knows what penetrates the earth and all that emerges from it; all that descends from heaven and all that ascends to it. He is with you wherever you are. Allah sees the things you do. 4 His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and to Allah are (all) affairs returned. 5 He makes the night to enter into the day and makes the day to enter into the night. He knows the thoughts within the breasts. 6 Have faith in God and His Messenger and spend for His cause out of what is entrusted to you. Those who believe and spend for the cause of God will have a great reward. 7 How is it that you do not believe in Allah when the Messenger calls you to believe in your Lord and although he has taken a covenant from you, if indeed you are believers? 8 It is He who sends down upon His Servant [Muhammad] verses of clear evidence that He may bring you out from darknesses into the light. And indeed, Allah is to you Kind and Merciful. 9 How is it that you do not expend in the Way of Allah when to Allah belongs the inheritance of the heavens and the earth? Those who spent their wealth and took part in fighting before the Victory cannot be equated (with those who spent their wealth and took part in fighting afterwards). They are higher in rank than those who spent and fought afterwards. But to each Allah has promised a good reward. Allah is well aware of all that you do. 10
