Al-Imraan 7 of 20

Say: 'People of the Book! Come to a word common between us and you: that we shall serve none but Allah and shall associate none with Him in His divinity and that some of us will not take others as lords beside Allah.' And if they turn their backs (from accepting this call), tell them: 'Bear witness that we are the ones who have submitted ourselves exclusively to Allah.' 64 O people of the Book! wherefore contend ye concerning Ibrahim, whereas the Taurat and the Injil were not sent down save after him! Will ye not then understand? 65 You even argue about what is already known to you. What can you learn from arguing about that which you have no knowledge? God knows but you do not know." 66 Ibrahim was neither a Jew nor a Christian; but he was a Muslim, free from all falsehood; and was not of the polytheists. 67 Without doubt, among men, the nearest of kin to Abraham, are those who follow him, as are also this Prophet and those who believe: And Allah is the Protector of those who have faith. 68 A party of the People of the Scripture long to make you go astray; and they make none to go astray except themselves, but they perceive not. 69 (Muhammad), say, "People of the Book, why do you deny the revelation of God (the Quran) even though you know very well that it is from God?. 70 People of the Book! Why do you confound truth with falsehood, and knowingly hide the truth? 71
