O believers, fear God. Let every soul consider what it has forwarded for the morrow. And fear God; God is aware of the things you do. 18 Be not as those who forgot God, and so He caused them to forget their souls; those -- they are the ungodly. 19 The people of the Fire and the people of Paradise are not equal. The people of Paradise are the victorious ones. 20 Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, verily, thou wouldst have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of Allah. Such are the similitudes which We propound to men, that they may reflect. 21 He is God, the only Lord, Who knows the unseen and the seen. He is the Beneficent and All-merciful One. 22 He is Allah, besides Whom there is no god; the King, the Holy, the Giver of peace, the Granter of security, Guardian over all, the Mighty, the Supreme, the Possessor of every greatness Glory be to Allah from what they set up (with Him). 23 It is Allah only, Who is the Creator, the Initiator, the Designer of all – His only are all the good names; all whatever is in the heavens and in the earth proclaims His Purity; and He only is the Most Honourable, the Wise. 24
