Friday (Al-Jumu'ah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ All whatever is in the heavens and all whatever is in the earth proclaims the Purity of Allah, the King, the Most Pure, the Most Honourable, the Wise. 1 It is He who has sent among the unlettered a Messenger from themselves reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book and wisdom - although they were before in clear error - 2 and to others also, from among them, who have not yet joined them. He is the Mighty, the Wise One. 3 That is God's grace; He bestows it on whom He pleases; for God is limitless in His grace. 4 The likeness of those who have been loaded with the Torah then they have not carried it, is as the likeness of an ass carrying books. Evil is the likeness of the people who have cried lies to God's signs. God guides never the people of the evildoers. 5 Say: "O ye that stand on Judaism! If ye think that ye are friends to Allah, to the exclusion of (other) men, then express your desire for Death, if ye are truthful!" 6 But, because of what their hands forwarded they will never long for it. Allah knows the harmdoers. 7 Say, "Indeed, the death from which you flee - indeed, it will meet you. Then you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you about what you used to do." 8
