No affliction befalls, except it be by the leave of God. Whosoever believes in God, He will guide his heart. And God has knowledge of everything. 11 Obey God and obey His Apostle. If you turn away, the duty of the Apostle is to convey the message clearly. 12 God is the only Lord and in Him the believers should trust. 13 O you who believe! surely from among your wives and your children there is an enemy to you; therefore beware of them; and if you pardon and forbear and forgive, then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. 14 Your riches and your children are but a temptation; and Allah! with Him is a mighty hire. 15 So keep your duty to Allah as best ye can, and listen, and obey, and spend; that is better for your souls. And whoso is saved from his own greed, such are the successful. 16 If ye loan to Allah, a beautiful loan, He will double it to your (credit), and He will grant you Forgiveness: for Allah is most Ready to appreciate (service), Most Forbearing,- 17 He is the Knower of the Unseen and the Visible, the Almighty, the Wise. 18
