Kingship (Al-Mulk)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Blessed is He in Whose hand is the kingdom, and He has power over all things, 1 He created death and life so that He might test you, and find out which of you is best in conduct. He is the Mighty, the Most Forgiving One. 2 Who has created the seven heavens one above another, you can see no fault in the creations of the Most Beneficent. Then look again: "Can you see any rifts?" 3 Then return [your] vision twice again. [Your] vision will return to you humbled while it is fatigued. 4 And assuredly We have bedecked the nearest heaven with lamps, and We have made them missiles for satans: and for them We have gotten ready the torment of the Blaze. 5 And for those who disbelieve in their Lord is the punishment of hell, and evil is the resort. 6 When they will be cast thereinto, they will hear thereof a braying even as it boileth up, 7 Almost bursting with fury: Every time a Group is cast therein, its Keepers will ask, "Did no Warner come to you?" 8 They say: Yea, verily, a warner came unto us; but we denied and said: Allah hath naught revealed; ye are in naught but a great error. 9 They will say: "If we had listened and been wise, we would not have been among the inmates of Hell." 10 Then they will confess their sin. So, away with the dwellers of the blazing Fire. 11 Indeed for those who fear their Lord without seeing is forgiveness, and a great reward. 12 Whether you speak in secret or aloud, He knows what is in every heart. 13 What! Will He Who has created not know? Whereas He knows every detail, the All Aware! 14
