Indeed for the pious, with their Lord, are Gardens of Serenity. 34 What, shall we make those who have surrendered like to the sinners? 35 What is the matter with you? How judge ye? 36 Have you a Scripture that tells you 37 that you will be granted whatever you choose? 38 Or have ye a covenant on oath from Us that reacheth to the Day of Judgment, that yours shall be all that ye ordain? 39 Ask them, which of them will guarantee that! 40 Or have they any partners? Let them bring their partners then, if what they say is true. 41 On the day when there shall be a severe affliction, and they shall be called upon to make obeisance, but they shall not be able, 42 Their eyes will be cast down, ignominy will cover them; they used to be called to prostrate (offer prayers), while they were healthy and good (in the life of the world, but they did not). 43 Therefore leave the one who denies this matter, to Me; We shall soon steadily take them away, from a place they do not know. 44 And I will grant them a respite. Verily, My Plan is strong. 45 Or, do you ask them for a wage, so that they are burdened with debt? 46 Or that they possess the hidden, so they are writing it? 47 So be thou patient under the judgment of thy Lord, and be not as the Man of the Fish, when he called, choking inwardly. 48 and who cried (for help) to his Lord, while imprisoned and helpless inside the fish. Had it not been for a favor from his Lord, he would have been left out in the open, deserving blame for his shortcomings. 49 His Lord therefore chose him and made him among those deserving His proximity. 50 And the Unbelievers would almost trip thee up with their eyes when they hear the Message; and they say: "Surely he is possessed!" 51 Whilst it is no more than reminder for the people of the world. 52
