Surely the God-fearing shall have Gardens of bliss with their Lord. 34 Shall We then treat those who have surrendered as We treat the guilty? 35 What aileth you? How ill ye judge! 36 Or have you a book wherein you read, 37 That ye shall indeed have all that ye choose? 38 Or have ye a covenant on oath from Us that reacheth to the Day of Judgment, that yours shall be all that ye ordain? 39 Ask them which of them is able to vouch for this! 40 Or do they have partners? Then let them bring their partners, if they should be truthful. 41 On the day when the Shin* will be exposed and they will be called to prostrate themselves, they will be unable. (Used as a metaphor) 42 Their eyes shall be downcast and ignominy shall overwhelm them. For when they were safe and sound, they were summoned to prostrate themselves, (and they refused). 43 Therefore, leave Me with he who belied this discourse. We will draw them on little by little from where they do not know. 44 And I do bear with them, surely My plan is firm. 45 Or, do you ask them for a wage, so that they are burdened with debt? 46 Or that the Ghaib (unseen here in this Verse it means Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz) is in their hands, so that they can write it down? 47 Then be patient for the decision of your Lord, [O Muhammad], and be not like the companion of the fish when he called out while he was distressed. 48 Were it not that favor from his Lord had overtaken him, he would certainly have been cast down upon the naked Found while he was blamed. 49 Thus did his Lord choose him and make him of the Company of the Righteous. 50 And those who disbelieve would almost smite you with their eyes when they hear the reminder, and they say: Most surely he is mad. 51 Whilst it is no more than reminder for the people of the world. 52
