But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 and by that you do not see, 39 that this is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 It is not the speech of a poet little do you believe 41 Nor is it the speech of a sooth-sayer. Little are ye admonished. 42 It has been sent down by the Lord of all the worlds. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We should certainly seize him by his right hand, 45 Then We would have cut from him the aorta. 46 and none of you could have held Us off from him. 47 Surely it is a Reminder to the godfearing; 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 And lo! it is indeed an anguish for the disbelievers. 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 (Muhammad), glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 52
