BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 and by that you do not see, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 It is not the speech of a poet (little do you believe) 41 Nor is it the speech of a soothsayer; how little do you ponder! 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings, 44 We assuredly had taken him by the right hand 45 Then We would certainly have cut off his aorta. 46 And none of you could withhold Us from (punishing) him. 47 The Quran is certainly a reminder for the pious ones. 48 We know that there are some among you who will belie. 49 And verily it shall be an occasion of anguish unto the infidels. 50 And indeed, it is the truth of certainty. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Almighty. 52
