Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 And that which you do not see. 39 that this is the speech of an honourable Messenger, 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe. 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 Had Muhammad invented some words against Us. 44 We would have seized him by the right hand 45 Then We would certainly have cut off his aorta. 46 And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him. 47 And verily it is an admonition unto the God-fearing. 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 And indeed it is a despair for the disbelievers. 50 And most surely it is the true certainty 51 (Muhammad), glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 52
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
