Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
I do not need to swear by what you see 38 and by what you do not see, 39 This Qur’an is the speech of Allah with a gracious Noble Messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 A sending down from the Lord of all Being. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We would have definitely taken revenge from him. 45 and cut-off his main artery. 46 and none of you could have held Us off from him. 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 And indeed We know that some among you are deniers. 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 And most surely it is the true certainty 51 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
