So I swear by what you see 38 And what you do not see 39 that this is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 It is not the speech of a poet little do you believe 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We assuredly had taken him by the right hand 45 Then We would have cut from him the aorta. 46 And none of you could withhold Us from (punishing) him. 47 The Quran is certainly a reminder for the pious ones. 48 And lo! We know that some among you will deny (it). 49 and surely it will be a cause of regret for the unbelievers. 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
God the Almighty always says the truth.
