Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And that which you do not see. 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 not the speech of a poet. Little do you believe! 41 Nor diviner's speech - little is it that ye remember! 42 It is a Revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 Had he invented sayings against Us, 44 We would have seized him by his right hand, 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 and not one of you could have defended him. 47 It is really a reminder for those who fear God and follow the straight path. 48 And most surely We know that some of you are rejecters. 49 and (on the Day of Judgment) this will be a great source of regret for the unbelievers. 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 So glorify the name of thy Tremendous Lord. 52
