So I do call to witness what ye see, 38 And by oath of those you do not see. 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 And it is not the speech of a poet; how little do you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would surely have seized him by the right hand, 45 and cut-off his main artery. 46 and not one of you would have been able to withhold Us from doing so. 47 And lo! it is a warrant unto those who ward off (evil). 48 And indeed We know that some among you are deniers. 49 And indeed it is a despair for the disbelievers. 50 This is the Truth beyond any doubt. 51 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 52
