So I swear by what you see 38 and what you do not see 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger; 40 And not the word of a poet. How little is it that you believe! 41 nor is it the speech of a soothsayer little do you remember. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 Had he attributed falsely any words to Us, 44 We would have seized him by his right hand, 45 then, We would surely have cut from him the aorta (vein) 46 And none of you could withhold Us from (punishing) him. 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran).
