I do not need to swear by what you see 38 And by whatsoever you see not, 39 that this is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet but only a few of you have faith, 41 nor is it the speech of a soothsayer little do you remember. 42 A sending down from the Lord of all Being. 43 Had he attributed falsely any words to Us, 44 We would have caught hold of him by his right hand 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 and not one of you could have defended him. 47 The Quran is certainly a reminder for the pious ones. 48 And behold, well do We know that among you are such as will give the lie to it: 49 And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers. 50 yet indeed it is the truth of certainty. 51 (Muhammad), glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 52
