But nay, I swear by all that you can see 38 And all that ye see not 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger; 40 And not the word of a poet. How little is it that you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer. Little is it that you reflect! 42 (This is) a Message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And had he fabricated just one matter upon Us – 44 We would have seized him by the right hand 45 And then severed his life-vein. 46 Then none among you would be his saviour. 47 Surely it is a Good Counsel for the God-fearing. 48 We know that there are some among you who will belie. 49 and (on the Day of Judgment) this will be a great source of regret for the unbelievers. 50 And He, He is indeed the ultimate Reality. 51 Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 52
