The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej)
44 verses, revealed in Mecca after Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah) before The News (Al-Naba')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
One demanding, demanded the chastisement which must befall 1 The Unbelievers, the which there is none to ward off,- 2 (A Penalty) from Allah, Lord of the Ways of Ascent. 3 To Him the angels and the Spirit (Gabriel) ascend in a day, the measure of which is fifty thousand years. 4 Therefore, [O believers] behave with seemly patience. 5 Indeed, they see it [as] distant, 6 but We see it to be very near. 7 The day the sky becomes like molten brass, 8 And the mountains will be like wool, 9 no loyal friend shall question loyal friend, 10 although they shall be within sight of one another. The guilty one would fain ransom himself from the torment of that Day by offering his children, 11 his wife, his brother, 12 And his kin that harboured him 13 And all that are in the earth, if then it might deliver him. 14 No, in truth, it is a Furnace! 15 stripping away his skin, 16 It shall insistently summon him who turned his back and retreated, 17 and who accumulated wealth without spending it for a good purpose. 18 ۞ Truly man was created very impatient;- 19 If evil befalls him he is perturbed; 20 and tight-fisted when good fortune visits him, 21 Except those who pray, 22 who are constant in prayer; 23 and those in whose wealth there is a known right 24 For the beggar and the destitute; 25 And those who believe in the Day of Recompense 26 And those who fear the punishment of their Lord. 27 Surely no one can be secure from the punishment of his Lord, -- 28 And those who guard their private parts, 29 Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they are not to be blamed - 30 whereas such as seek to go beyond that [limit] are truly transgressors; 31 And those who keep their trusts and covenants; 32 And those who stand firm in their testimonies; 33 And those who [carefully] maintain their prayer: 34 Those shall dwell in Gardens, honoured. 35

Notes and Instructions
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color, where pages randomly generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
