Al-Ma'aarej 2 of 2

But what is the matter with those who deny the truth, that they come hastening towards you 36 towards thee on the right hand and on the left hand in knots? 37 Does every one of them wish to enter the garden of tranquility? 38 By no means! verily We! We have created them from that which they know. 39 So I swear by the Lord of [all] risings and settings that indeed We are able 40 to replace them with [people] better than they are; for there is nothing to prevent Us [from doing what We will]. 41 So leave them to engage in vain talk and to amuse themselves until they come face to face with the Day which they are promised, 42 The Day whereon they will issue from their sepulchres in sudden haste as if they were rushing to a goal-post (fixed for them),- 43 humbled their eyes, overspreading them abasement. That is the day which they were promised. 44

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej). Sent down in Mecca after Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah) before The News (Al-Naba')
