WHAT, THEN, is amiss with such as are bent on denying the truth, that they run about confusedly to and fro before thee, 36 On the right hand and on the left, in sundry parties? 37 What, is every man of them eager to be admitted to a Garden of Bliss? 38 Never! We have indeed created them from a thing they know. 39 So I swear by the Lord of every East and every West, that We are indeed Able. 40 To replace them with better than them; and We are not to be outdone. 41 So leave them to their vain disputes and amusement till they meet their day (of reckoning) promised them, 42 The day when they come forth from the graves in haste, as racing to a goal, 43 With their eyes lowered in fear and humility, ignominy covering them (all over)! That is the Day which they were promised! 44
