So what is [the matter] with those who disbelieve, hastening [from] before you, [O Muhammad], 36 On the right and on the left, in groups? 37 Does every man among them aspire to be admitted into the Garden of serenity? 38 No, that is not like that! Verily, We have created them out of that which they know! 39 But nay! I swear by the Lord of the rising-places and the setting-places of the planets that We verily are Able 40 to replace them by others who would be better than they; and We shall certainly not be overpowered. 41 So leave them alone to plunge and play, until they encounter the Day which they are promised; 42 the day they shall come forth from the tombs hastily, as if they were hurrying unto a waymark, 43 their eyes are humbled and they are covered with humiliation. Such is the Day that they were promised. 44
