But what is the matter with those who disbelieve that they hasten on around you, 36 In crowds, right and left? 37 What, is every one of them eager to be admitted to the Garden of Bliss? 38 Not so; for We have created them of what they know. 39 I swear by the Lord of the easts and the wests that We have the power 40 To bring better people than they in their place; and they will not be able to thwart Us. 41 Then leave them alone to plunge and play until they encounter that day of theirs which they are promised, 42 The day when they come forth from the graves in haste, as racing to a goal, 43 Their eyes cast down; disgrace shall overtake them; that is the day which they were threatened with. 44
