Al-Ma'aarej 2 of 2

Now what is the matter with the Unbelievers that they rush madly before thee- 36 [To sit] on [your] right and [your] left in separate groups? 37 Does every person among them aspire to enter a garden of pleasure? 38 By no means! Surely We have created them of what they know. 39 I do not need to swear by the Lord of the eastern and western regions that We have certainly all the power 40 to replace them with [people] better than they are; for there is nothing to prevent Us [from doing what We will]. 41 So leave them alone to plunge and play, until they encounter the Day which they are promised; 42 The Day whereon they will issue from their sepulchres in sudden haste as if they were rushing to a goal-post (fixed for them),- 43 with their eyes cast down and covered by disgrace; the day about which they were promised. 44

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
