Al-Ma'aarej 2 of 2

But what is the matter with those who deny the truth, that they come hastening towards you 36 From the right and the left, in groups? 37 Coveteth every man of them, that he shall enter the Garden of Delight? 38 No, that is not like that! Verily, We have created them out of that which they know! 39 Now I do call to witness the Lord of all points in the East and the West that We can certainly- 40 Substitute for them better (men) than they; And We are not to be defeated (in Our Plan). 41 (Muhammad), leave them alone to dispute and play until they face the Day with which they have been threatened: 42 The Day whereon they will issue from their sepulchres in sudden haste as if they were rushing to a goal-post (fixed for them),- 43 Their eyes cast down; disgrace shall overtake them; that is the day which they were threatened with. 44

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej). Sent down in Mecca after Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah) before The News (Al-Naba')
