So what is [the matter] with those who disbelieve, hastening [from] before you, [O Muhammad], 36 in crowds, both on the right and on the left? 37 Does every one of them desire to enter the bountiful Paradise? 38 Not so; for We have created them of what they know. 39 So I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We are certainly able 40 To replace them by those better than them; and none can escape from Us. 41 Therefore leave them alone to go on with the false discourses and to sport until they come face to face with that day of theirs with which they are threatened; 42 the Day when they rush out of their graves as if racing towards a signpost, 43 Eyes lowered, shame attending. That is the day they have been promised! 44
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej). Sent down in Mecca after Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah) before The News (Al-Naba')
