Noah said, "My Lord, indeed they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss. 21 and who have devised a most awesome blasphemy [against Thee,] 22 "And they have said (to each other), 'Abandon not your gods: Abandon neither Wadd nor Suwa', neither Yaguth nor Ya'uq, nor Nasr';- 23 "And indeed they have led many astray. And (O Allah): 'Grant no increase to the Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers, and disbelievers, etc.) save error." 24 They were drowned and sent to Hell for their misdeeds; they found no one to help them against God. 25 And Nuh (Noah) said: "My Lord! Leave not one of the disbelievers on the earth! 26 for, behold, if Thou dost leave them, they will [always try to] lead astray those who worship Thee, and will give birth to nothing but wickedness and stubborn ingratitude. 27 My Lord! forgive me and my parents and him who entereth my house as a believer, and believing men and believing women, and increase not the wrong-doers in aught save ruin! 28

True are the words of God the Almighty.
