Nuh said: My Lord! surely they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children have added to him nothing but loss. 21 They contrived a plot of great magnitude. 22 And said: 'Do not abandon your gods, and do not abandon Wadda or Suwa', or Yaghuth, Ya'uq or Nasr.' 23 "They have already misled many; and grant Thou no increase to the wrong-doers but in straying (from their mark)." 24 They were drowned because of their habitual sinfulness, and sent to Hell, and did not find any helper other than God. 25 And Noah said: My Lord! Leave not one of the disbelievers in the land. 26 “Indeed, if You spare them, they will mislead your bondmen – and their descendants, if any, will be none except the wicked, very ungrateful.” 27 My Lord! forgive me and my parents and him who entereth my house as a believer, and believing men and believing women, and increase not the wrong-doers in aught save ruin! 28
