Noah said: My Lord! Lo! they have disobeyed me and followed one whose wealth and children increase him in naught save ruin; 21 and who have devised a most awesome blasphemy [against Thee,] 22 And they have said: Forsake not your gods. Forsake not Wadd, nor Suwa', nor Yaghuth and Ya'uq and Nasr. 23 "They have already misled many; and grant Thou no increase to the wrong-doers but in straying (from their mark)." 24 They were drowned because of their habitual sinfulness, and sent to Hell, and did not find any helper other than God. 25 Noah said, "Lord, do not leave a single disbeliever on earth; 26 If you leave them, they will lead Your creatures astray, and beget but iniquitous and ungrateful offspring. 27 Lord! Forgive me and my parents and every true believer who enters my house, forgive all the believing men and believing women; and bestow no increase upon the wrongdoers except in ruin? 28
